Please note for your safety:

• Cast iron handles become very hot. They must not be placed over hot hobs: Risk of burns!

• Always use oven mitts and suitable trivets!

• Please note that when preheating the fondue pot on a hob, heat the pot slowly and not on the highest setting. This gives the pot time to expand. If the pot is preheated too quickly and strongly, the enamel may burst.

• Ensure that the pot is standing securely and on a suitable surface!

Protecting the enamel coating

• Please do not cut the enamel coating. It can cause unsightly scratches and cuts.

• Never heat the pan for long periods without contents: risk of overheating!

• The cookware is not impact-resistant.

Risk of burns

Do not pour water into the hot fat!

Caution: Meat often contains a lot of liquid and can cause splashes. Make sure that no liquid fat can drip onto the open flame of the paste burner. Fire hazard!

Use on all types of cookers

• To avoid scratches on hobs with glass surfaces: Carefully lift and remove the cookware. Do not slide over the

  glass surface.

• When using on gas hobs: Risk of fire and burns:

• Adjust the gas flame to the base of the cookware.

If the base of the cookware is damaged, scratches may appear on glass surfaces. In this case, we recommend buying a new pan. We also advise people with allergies (e.g. to nickel, iron) to replace the pan if the enamelling on the inside of the pan is damaged.

• Remove the lid.

• Close burner, insert into suitable rechaud and light.

• Please note: Only use suitable rechauds with a good and secure stand.

• Regulate the burning intensity with the slide.
