Safety Instructions
Warning – For your safety
First, remove any packaging and stickers.
Wash the cookware thoroughly in warm soapy water and dry it carefully.
Boil the pans 2–3 times with water to remove any manufacturing residues and impurities.
Before using the pan for the first time, rub the inside with a little oil. This process should be repeated from time to time to maintain the non-stick properties.
Do not use metal kitchen utensils and do not cut directly into the cookware with knives. This can cause scratches and cut marks in the non-stick coating, which may affect its performance.
Do not leave the cookware unattended whilst in use. Keep out of reach of children.
Do not overheat the product and never leave it empty for long periods – risk of overheating!
Temperatures above 250 °C should be avoided; this can be prevented by using a little oil as a heat indicator, as oil begins to smoke at temperatures above 250 °C.
Overheating must be avoided at all costs, as food may burn onto the (heat-resistant) ceramic coating, leaving black deposits on the surface.
For frying, we recommend using a medium heat setting and a little oil or cooking fat.
Handles must not be left over hot hobs: risk of burns!
When using the product in the oven, use pot holders or oven gloves.
Take particular care when handling hot fat.
Never extinguish burning fat with water.
To extinguish the flames, use a blanket to smother them.
To prevent accidents, the product must only be used with the handle securely fastened. Tighten any loose screws using a screwdriver
Note for induction hobs
An induction hob is an extremely fast heat source. Avoid heating the cookware when it is empty, as it may be damaged by overheating. At high temperature settings, a humming sound may be heard; this is due to technical reasons. This is not a fault with your hob or cookware. The diameter of the base of the cookware must match the size of the hob’s cooking zone. Particularly if the base diameter is too small, there is a
possibility that the hob’s magnetic field will not respond.

Care and cleaning instructions
Cookware with a ceramic coating is very easy to care for. Allow the pan to cool before cleaning. For light soiling, simply wipe with a kitchen towel. Otherwise, clean it in warm soapy water using a non-abrasive sponge or washing-up brush (do not use steel wool or scouring pads!).
Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning products to clean the pan.
Minor stains and discolouration after some time are normal and can be removed by soaking in hot water and scrubbing with a washing-up brush, a soft sponge or a cloth.
Always dry the cookware thoroughly to prevent limescale marks from forming.
We recommend washing by hand. Washing in the dishwasher may reduce the non-stick effect.
