Santos electric kettle

Please read the enclosed instructions carefully before using the

kettle for the first time, and keep them for future reference.

This appliance can be used by children aged eight years and above, as well as by persons

with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience, provided they are supervised or have been instructed in its safe use

and understand the potential hazards. Children must not play with the appliance, and cleaning or maintenance should only be carried out under supervision.

Always keep the kettle and the power cord out of the reach of children under eight years of age.

ELECTRIC SHOCK

Ensure that you never touch live parts. An electric shock can cause serious injury or even death. Therefore, only connect the appliance to a properly installed socket whose mains voltage corresponds to the technical specifications of the appliance (see the rating plate on the appliance and the ‘Technical Specifications’ section in the user manual for details).

REPAIRS

If you suspect a technical fault, immediately unplug the appliance from the mains socket. Take the appliance to the nearest repair service and have it checked. We accept no liability

for any damage caused by improper handling. Warning: Improper handling can pose a significant risk to the user. The appliance is intended solely for domestic use and must only be operated with the supplied base unit

. Never fill the kettle beyond the maximum mark, as hot water may spill out during heating. Ensure that no liquid comes into contact with the plug. The surface of the heating element remains hot after use – avoid touching it. Never immerse the

kettle in water or other liquids. Do not open the lid whilst the kettle is boiling.

Before first use

Rinse the kettle in accordance with the cleaning instructions to remove any manufacturing residues.

USE

This appliance is intended solely for domestic use. Any misuse is strictly prohibited due to the associated risks! If the appliance is used for purposes other than those intended or is operated incorrectly, no liability can be accepted for any resulting damage. Use only original accessories or those expressly recommended by the manufacturer. The use of incorrect accessories may cause damage.
