Apricot Oven Dream: Experience the traditional dessert from grandma's kitchen - interpreted in a modern way by Andreas Widmann. Warning: may be addictive!
2 tablespoons of sugar
1 tablespoon apricot liqueur
250 g braid or brioche yeast
500 grams of cream
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
4 tablespoons powdered sugar
Preheat the top heat oven to 130°C. Pit the apricots, cut them into eighths and mix the sugar and the apricot liqueur. Leave to marinate for about 15 minutes. Cut the braided yeast into cubes of about 1.5 cm.
Butter the roasting pan and sprinkle with breadcrumbs, strip the pickled apricots, mix with the yeast braided cubes and fill the form.
Mix the cream with the eggs and cinnamon and drizzle over the apricot mixture. Distribute everything evenly in the form and cook for about 50 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar and serve hot.
